Redacted is a free daily anime guessing game on AniCodle. Every day a real review is pulled from MyAnimeList — either a glowing five-star review or a brutal one-star review. Any mention of the anime title inside the review text is automatically censored. You must rely on the reviewer's descriptions, opinions, and emotional reactions to identify the series in five guesses or fewer.
Genre and theme tags from each wrong guess are compared to the correct answer's tags and highlighted green if they match or red if they do not, narrowing down the category. After three wrong guesses a hint button unlocks, revealing additional metadata such as unseen genre tags or a single word from the title itself. You can also give up at any time to see the answer, which resets your streak.
